Kelly Boutilier is the creator of Rhythm Seekers and comes from rural Nova Scotia, Canada where she studied Recreation Management at L'Université de Moncton. Her primary instrument is classical flute, which she studied for 12 years. Kelly has also been known to try any instrument you put into her hands including guitar, piano, harmonica and of course drums!

Kelly lived in Ireland from 2005 until 2010 where she worked in the Community & Voluntary Sector specialising in working with people with disabilities and minority groups. Seaching for a way to build communities in an accessibly way, Kelly found her way to a course run by Arthur Hull on Drum circle facilitation in 2008. This training put her on the path to create Rhythm Seekers and she has been running a variety of facilitated drum circles in the community ever since.
Some of her clients have included: NCBI, The Irish Wheelchair Association, Eco Unesco, The Central Remedial Clinic, The Southside Partnership, Dun Laoghaire Youth Service, Ballyogan Resource Centre, The Anne Sullivan Centre and Tools for Learning: a group for children with Autism.
Dedicated to expanding her ability to serve her community, Kelly returned to train with Arthur Hull in an intensive training course in October 2009. She intends to become a fully certified drum circle facilitator and work to reach as many people as possible with music.
